Thinking on this First Mother’s Day to Come

 First Mother’s day Morning tears will soon be here. Losing my mother brings the painful reality that every experience hereafter will be a first without her. As I pray on this, tears come suddenly as they always do. Remembering evermore, the beautiful woman who formed me, gave me life, and surrounded my world with the sweetness of a mother’s invincible love. The story of the beautiful “Carmencita” needs to be written.  I feel the persistence of her prayers still at work.  They continue blessing my children and will bring God’s grace upon future generations in ways we may never know.  Through her life, I understand now, how love can transcend the unknown vastness of the cosmos that separates souls.
