Hello Mornings by: Kat Lee

Thought to start the year reading a book about ways to bring grace filled habits into my morning routine. Kat’s book is filled with simply ideas and wonderful experiences from her own life that help bring meaning to her God + Plan + Move three minute morning routine. I love her constant reflection on Psalm 143:8 and now say this prayer during the early hours of my day. In particular I loved the story she shares about a sailing trip she took with her brother and father and what happened when they were engulfed in a sudden storm. You’ll have to read the book to find out! This is a great book for working mothers trying to balance so much into a day. Kat provides lots of fun ideas to keep the kids happy while maintaining mom’s own morning rhythm. She offers wonderful reasons to keep faith in God and how she builds her own trust every day. She certainly lives it herself by example. There were a few times when I found myself quickly thumbing through pages a bit but only because the example did not pertain to my own particular morning routine. Love the appendix and God Plan Move summary she gives in the back of the book. Happy I read it and do recommend it as an inspirational morning read. I also really enjoyed Kat’s writing style – simple and genuine.
